Hakama
Hakama for men is usually made from stiff silk, black or white, with striped patterns. They are often worn over Montsuki, split-toe socks. On the outside is a long coat with a white string securing the lap to complete the outfit.
Montsuki + Hakama is a type of kimonos usually reserved for men, which is suitable for important occasions (weddings, martial arts competitions...).
